When we were waiting for Green Card, there was a point when only my husband was able to work, if work authorization would not arrive on time.
The critical date was October 15th, I was pregnant, I asked the cite manager - can I take any leave, while waiting? Medical/vacation (I had plenty of days accumulated). The answer was no, I'd have to be terminated. On October 13th, it was Friday, I told goodbye to everyone, thinking I'll rest some at home. Needless to say, Saturday mail brought finally the work authorization and I was able to go back on Monday...
Ну вот, практически та же самая итория. Я только себе не представляю, как бы я это пережила, будучи беременной, это э насколько устойчивую психику надо иметь! Правда, я здесь одна, мне бы сразу пришлось уехать, если бы не.
We both worked for Amdocs, but as my hubby was the GC applicant, I was not in great position. But "Sof tov, akol tov", it all worked out at the end...
That's why the actual sitizenship process left me completely emotionless - in 7 years of Greencard + 5 years od Citizenship processes teach you all the patience in the world:-)
